The Flint and Magnesium Firestarter can be an effective FLASHLIGHT substitute when scraped repeatedly; for a flare-like signal and light.

The handles are ruggedly beautiful deer or elk antlers. They are carefully hand crafted to fit each firestarter for easy holding and effective striking. Each firestarter comes complete with a hardened steel blade and leather thong. The edges of the blade can be renewed by honing or grinding on a sharpening stone. A knife or any other object that has a sharp square edge may be used to spark the flint also. Free blade replacements are available upon request with a SASE sent to the the address below.
